It is famous for its mountains and temples and rich local culture. Chiang Mai is a great place to start your trip. Chiang Mai was a welcome change from Bangkok. The city was warm and humid while the temperatures in the Highlands and mountains get dropped around 12\u00b0C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On our first day, we visited Maya shopping center and explore the surrounding area among caf\u00e9s, restaurants, and local shops. It was a great way to get to know the city and enjoy its relaxed atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following day we took a trip to Doi Inthanon the highest mountain in Thailand rising about 2565 m above sea level. The mountain is surrounded by beautiful forest and waterfalls and offers breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. It is a wonderful place to enjoy nature escape the heat, and breathe the cool mountain air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next day we visited the famous Wht Phra that Doi Suthep Temple located on a mountain overlooking Chiang Mai.the temple is one of the most important and beautiful landmarks in Northern Thailand .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We ended the day at Chiang Mai University, where we found a lovely caf\u00e9s, surrounded by nature from the caf\u00e9. We could enjoy beautiful views of the green lawns trees and a large lake in the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, Chiang Mai is a beautiful city in northern Thailand. It offers a wonderful combination of nature, mountains, temples, caf\u00e9s, and a relaxed atmosphere for us.
